Worship as a Fragrant Offering

When we ask that our worship be a fragrant offering to the Lord, what are we really asking for? Do we reflect on the holiness standards that God required of those who burned incense in the Temple? What does our holiness have to do with the way that we interact with the Creator of the Universe?
